How is our fiber different?
We’ve taken a more thoughtful approach to fiber. We include soluble fiber, insoluble fiber, and prebiotics from only real food. No fillers, gums, synthetics, preservatives, or unnecessary sweeteners.
What are the ingredients?
We have a proprietary blend made of only Psyllium Husk, Flax Seeds, Organic Apples, Peas, and Chia seeds.
What is the difference between dietary fiber and functional fiber?
Dietary fiber is naturally found in whole foods, whereas functional fiber is extracted, isolated, and added to foods. Our fiber blend includes only dietary fiber from real food.
Does it dissolve in liquids?
Since it’s made from minimally processed foods, it won’t dissolve or disappear in liquids.
Can I take too much fiber?
Yes, you can. Eating too much fiber (or introducing it too quickly) can cause bloating and even constipation. It’s recommended to slowly increase your fiber intake so you can avoid any discomfort.
What’s the recommended amount of fiber?
It’s recommended that we get 25 to 30 grams of total dietary fiber a day. Our fiber can help you:
1) Reach your daily fiber goals.
2) Get a diverse range of fiber and prebiotics from real foods.
*It's best to check with your doctor or nutritionist to figure out what's right for you.
What are prebiotics?
Prebiotics are a form of fiber that are naturally found in plants. They work to feed the healthy gut bacteria in our digestive tract.
Research shows that having healthy gut bacteria can help boost your immune system, reduce inflammation, increase energy levels, support glowing skin, and even help with anxiety.
Does it help with constipation and bloating?
Yes! Increasing your daily fiber intake supports regularity and less bloating. Our fiber was specifically crafted with both soluble and insoluble fiber to gently collect waste and make it easier to pass.
Does it have flavor?
A lot of “natural" flavors are not really natural, so we decided to skip on adding any sugars, alternative sweeteners, or flavorings. Be sure to stay connected for updates because we’re always working on new things.
Can I add it to my smoothies?
Yes! It can be added to your favorite smoothies, juices, recipes, and more.
P.S. We love new recipes. If you created something special, we’d love to try it. Contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org to share.
Can I take this every day?
Yes. As a fiber supplement, you can take it daily. 1 serving gives you 18% of your daily value of dietary fiber. If you’re increasing your fiber intake for the first time, start by taking a ½ scoop for the first 2-5 days then move on to taking a full scoop as recommended. It’s also really important to stay hydrated while taking fiber supplements.
What is the difference between soluble and insoluble fiber?
Both fibers are a type of carb that passes through your digestive system undigested and both have unique benefits.
Soluble fiber turns into a gel during digestion. This slows things down and helps collect waste. Soluble fibers that include prebiotics will also work to feed your healthy gut bacteria.
Insoluble fiber remains unchanged during digestion, so it promotes the movement of food through your digestive tract. It supports moving things along to help with constipation, irregularity, and bloating.
Can I take this if I have food allergies?
Our fiber does not contain any nuts or other food allergens but it's made in a facility that processes these allergens. Please check with your doctor to see if it's safe for you to take.
Can I take this with prescribed medications?
We recommend checking with your doctor or pharmacist before adding our fiber supplement to your routine.
Is it gluten-free and vegan?
Our fiber is made with all vegan ingredients and our food list is naturally gluten-free. However, it is made in a facility that processes animal products and gluten. Our proprietary blend is not certified gluten-free or vegan.
